Description
The UNIKUM student residence defines the ‘new centre’ of the Martinsried campus: all everyday amenities are within walking distance or a short bike ride away. Technical colleges, institutes, faculties, LMU University and Großhadern Hospital are also just a short distance away.
From 2027/2028, underground line 6 will connect Martinsried directly with Munich. From the UNIKUM Apartments and the ‘Neue Mitte’ shopping centre, you can reach the new station in no time at all. But that's not all: whether you need a supermarket, pharmacy, medical centre or bakery – everything is within easy reach in Martinsried. It's perfect for young people!
The student residence consists of a total of 280 apartments, including 6 double apartments. With living spaces ranging from approx. 19 to approx. 45 m² and optional balcony, terrace, roof terrace or glazed loggia.
The apartments are equipped with a bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, desk, office chair, kitchenette with hob and fridge, and a fully equipped bathroom (please note: furnishings may vary slightly from apartment to apartment!). The apartments are also equipped with a multimedia connection.
The building is equipped with Wi-Fi hotspots in public areas. Washing machines and dryers in the laundry room can be conveniently and easily controlled via app, website or telephone. This allows you to check whether a machine is available and reserve it free of charge.
There are 66 parking spaces (including 50 duplex parking spaces) available for rent in the underground car park. A further 62 underground parking spaces are open to the public. A caretaker is on site and can respond quickly if needed.
Traffic connections
Munich Central Station can be reached in approx. 30 minutes by S-Bahn and bus.

Please note that only students who meet the following requirements will be accepted into the UNIKUM student residence:
– students, trainees and doctoral candidates at German universities and research institutions
– enrolment/training contract/employment contract from German universities and research institutions
– liability insurance
– copy of identity card/passport
